All areas of our website that collect personal details including our shopping cart checkout are protected by industry standard 128 bit SSL encryption. All customer payment card details are safely stored and encrypted on our own secure server, we do not store any card information after your order is processed. Gothic Haven is a Natwest Streamline Merchant.

Prices
All items are offered for sale in £ British Pounds Sterling GBP. Other currencies are shown only as a guide for your convenience. If you are an overseas customer, the amount you pay in your own currency will depend on the current prevailing exchange rate at the time your payment is processed.

Methods of payment
Directly to us by Credit/Debit Card for UK based transaction only. For international orders we use PayPal which allows you to pay in £ Sterling, US $ or € Euros – (UK customers may use PayPal too if they prefer). Also for UK customers by prior arrangement only, we also accept personal cheques, postal orders or direct bank transfers (Please contact us if you wish to pay by one of these methods).

Delivery Within the United Kingdom
We ship within the UK via Royal Mail special delivery next day and Royal Mail first class recorded signed for mail.
Normally our standard delivery charge is £6.95 for one item, plus £3.00 for each additional item. So, for example, 2 items would be £9.95.
Delivery times may vary depending on the item:

• In stock Ready to Ship items and Vintage Accessories, please allow up to 10 working days.
• Corsets from our standard Overbust and Underbust range, normally within 28 working days.
• Pimp Alternative Clothing range and Mini Hats, all items are made to order so please allow 3-5 weeks.
• Please be advised that the above delivery times are not guaranteed and all items should be allowed 28 working days for delivery. If you need the item for a specific date please e-mail us before placing your order.
• All other items including the Lux Tenebrae boutique may take 2-5 weeks if the order is a custom garment. This is, of course, dependant on the complexity of the order.

Delivery Outside United Kingdom (International)
We ship internationally via Royal Mail international signed for.
Our international delivery charge is £12.95 for one item, plus £7.00 for each additional item. So, for example, 2 items would be £19.95.
International delivery times vary depending on the item:

• In stock Ready to Ship items and Vintage Accessories, please allow up to 14 working days.
• Corsets from our standard Overbust and Underbust range, normally within 21 working days.
• Pimp Alternative Clothing range and Mini Hats, all items are made to order so please allow up to 5 weeks.
• All other items including the Lux Tenebrae boutique may take 4-6 weeks if the order is a custom garment. This is, of course, dependant on the complexity of the order.

Please note that the above delivery times are intended as a guide and we always do our best to get your purchase to you even sooner. During busy periods it may not always be possible to meet these deadlines.

Returns
We ask that all customers check their purchases for condition and fit upon receipt. In the event that you need to return an item you must inform us of your decision within 7 working days of receipt. You will be responsible for the return postage of all goods which must arrive back to us within 21 working days from the date you inform us of your desire to return them to us. When returning items they must be unworn (except to check for size and fit) and unwashed with all labels intact. Please note that Corsets are classed as underwear and as such are non-returnable. If your purchase is a custom made garment a refund will only be given at our discretion, however we reserve the right to levy up to 50% in restocking fees. Before returning any item Customers must contact us to obtain a returns code which must be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging.

If you are returning an item from outside of the UK please also ensure that the parcel is clearly marked "UK RETURN" to avoid any customs problems. Please note that customers outside the UK may not receive an exact refund in their own currency as exchange rates can fluctuate. All refunds will be made at the price paid in £ pounds sterling. Taking into account exchange rate fluctuations you may receive a refund which is less or greater than the amount you originally paid in your own currency.

Bearing all the above in mind, we obviously want you to be happy with your purchase and we will make any necessary adjustments and keep working with you until you are satisfied.

Faulty items
We thoroughly check all items before dispatch, however if you do receive a faulty item from us then you may return it for an exchange or a full refund. Customers must contact us for a faults code which must clearly be marked on the package. If you are returning an item from outside of the UK then please ensure that the parcel is clearly marked "UK RETURN" to avoid any customs problems.

Cancellation of Custom orders
If for any reason you need to cancel your custom order before it is dispatched, we reserve the right to charge a percentage of the order as a cancellation fee. If the garment has been made for you you may be charged up to 50% of the price of the garment. If the garment has not yet been made you will not incur any charge.


Disclaimer
No contract will subsist between you and Gothichaven.com for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Gothichaven.com accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has dispatched your product. For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England, and you and Gothichaven.com irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
